An AI workspace that works with your own API key, or without one
IntelliHelper is a workspace for tasks, notes, documents and a calendar with a built-in AI assistant. The assistant is included on a free account with no key needed. You can optionally add your own provider API keys later to use your models and limits. Create a free account. No API key needed to start.
What "bring your own key" means
Bring your own key (BYOK) means you paste an API key from an AI provider into an app, and the app calls that provider with your key. The models and limits are the ones on your own provider account.
In IntelliHelper, BYOK is optional. Keys call the providers you configured.
Two ways to use AI in IntelliHelper
Included AI, no key needed
The assistant is included on a free account. You don't need to paste a provider key before you can ask for a draft or a summary. The pricing page answers "Do I need my own AI keys?" with: "No. Included AI is on Free. Add provider keys later if you want your models and limits."
Your own provider keys, when you want them
Optionally add provider API keys for your models and limits. Keys call the providers you configured. The Free plan on the pricing page lists "Optional bring-your-own-key".
| Included AI | Your keys |
|---|---|
| Included on a free account | Optional, and listed on the Free plan |
| No provider key needed before you ask for a draft or a summary | Keys call the providers you configured |
| Start with the AI that comes with the workspace | Add keys later for your models and limits |
What the assistant does inside your workspace
The assistant works in the same workspace as your tasks and notes, so it's not just a chat window.
- Draft tasks and notes from a short prompt, then edit them in the same task and note editors.
- Ask it to summarize what's open, ask about tasks, or plan the day without copying context into a separate chat product.
- Conversations stay with the workspace.
What happens to your keys
The privacy page says that if you save provider API keys, they are stored so the assistant can call the providers you configured. They are your keys; they are not harvested to train a public IntelliHelper model.
The rest of the workspace
- Tasks in list or board views, with priorities and due dates.
- Notes written in markdown.
- A calendar with week and month views and in-app reminders.
- Documents in folders, with PDF and image preview in the app. Share files through public links with an optional link password, view cap and expiry, and add a download password. Downloads are allowed by default; the sharer can turn on view-only to block downloads, though view-only doesn't block printing, copying or screenshots. All of this is on the Free plan.
For a closer look at tasks and notes together, see notes and tasks in one app.
Who it suits
- People who want AI inside their tasks and notes, not in a separate chat window.
- People who already have an AI provider account and want their own models and limits.
- Anyone who wants to start without a key and decide later.
